I recently completed a clay tile for my friend, Heather. I had the tile finished a couple of years ago but lost track of where it was. I painted it this week. I used air dry clay, acrylic paint and a sealer on top.
The Dust of Everyday Lifehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06918930484649287076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-363096698836537165.post-27830483957832681372013-02-04T09:18:00.002-08:002013-02-04T09:18:59.603-08:00Andy Warhol Inspired

We students created POP art inspired paintings. This was the example I created. I used this lesson for my 4-12 grade students. They love Pop Art, the bright colors and the references to products they use everyday.

Here are photos of the example I created for my students. We studied Robert Indiana art and life. Students created a book using personal words, numerals and symbols. I originally got the idea for the lesson from Dick Blick Art Supplies website. My son was the inspiration for my example.

This often happens to me as I put all my effort into starting the school year off right. I also have been taking classes toward a Reading License. These classes have been intensive and use all my free time in order for me to do well. I am looking forward for a break between classes, beginning in 4 weeks. In the meantime, I have been running, drawing when I can, taking care of my son, and husband (who spent a week in the hospital recently)! The Dust of Everyday Lifehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06918930484649287076noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-363096698836537165.post-21194914301829958842011-08-15T19:45:00.000-07:002011-08-15T19:45:22.483-07:00Shaded Flower Style DrawingI used Ebony pencil and Sharpie.
